Peter Vidrine for State Representative
-
Like most of you, I have been frustrated by an ever expanding and rarely improving State and Federal government. Like you, also, I recognize that being upset or just complaining is not going to correct these problems. To effectively improve our government, we must participate in those institutions that can and will effect positive change. To this end, I have decided to be a candidate for State Representative in Louisiana's District 38.
If you have been dissatisfied by the lack of representation over the last 4 years, and are ready for real representation, then you now have a choice. If you are tired of the lack of access due to your residing in the "wrong" community or side of the district, then you now have an opportunity to elect a candidate who has experienced the same problems and situations as you have.
You and I have paid into the system with our taxes, paid for with our sweat and toil, for too many years, getting little or nothing in return.
• Baton Rouge has effectively been destroying or dumbing down our schools, and it's time to end this idiocy. • Baton Rouge has consistently left our roads in disrepair, in spite of the road maintenance taxes we pay. It's time to fix our roads, and not just the roads in our representative's community. • It's time to bring in competition to our electric utilities, regardless of the community you live in. • It's time to stand up against the US Army Corp. of Engineers, every so many years, flooding our communities to save other communities, while forcing us to have to pay greater flood insurance premiums as a result of their actions. • It's time to end the murder of innocent babies in the name of "Abortion," in Louisiana. The end can and will be brought about, once we have representatives who have the courage to do the right thing and the willingness to stop cowering in the fear of Washington. There are many injustices being perpetrated against the good people of District 38, and Peter Vidrine is the candidate who will stand toe to toe against the bureaucrats of Baton Rouge and Washington to end them.
The reason I am asking you to elect me as your next State Representative is because I want us all to finally be represented in Baton Rouge. I will represent every person in District 38, not just a few.
Like you, I have always tried to provide my children with a better life and better opportunities than I have had. It's not too late to take Louisiana back, and leave a better State to our children.
I thank you for taking the time to visit my campaign web site. Please feel free to review the "Issues" section so you can better know what I believe are the answers to our problems, and what I will do to remedy these problems, once elected.
Thank You,
